Exchange Club Top in Country

The Exchange Club of Speedway, Indiana was named one of the Top 25 Money-Raising Clubs in the country on July 17, 2009 during the National Exchange Club’s annual convention in Jacksonville, Florida. The Exchange Club of Speedway was in competition with nearly 800 other Exchange Clubs across the country to raise the most money for the National Exchange Club Foundation.

The National Exchange Club Foundation supports the programs of Exchange including its national project, Child Abuse Prevention. The Foundation has a network of more than 100 child abuse prevention centers in 29 states. To date, the Foundation has helped to break the cycle of child abuse for 691,000 families and more than 1.7 million children through its hands-on preventative programs and educational efforts.

The Exchange Club of Speedway meets weekly at Grindstone Charley’s at 5822 Crawfordsville Rd. in Indianapolis. Exchange Members contribute their time and energy to a variety of projects and programs to meet community needs in and around the Speedway area.

The National Exchange Club is a community service organization of nearly 800 clubs and 26,000 volunteers throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Exchange is working to make America a better place to live through one national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse, and other projects in the areas of Youth, Americanism and Community Service.
