Lynnwood Resident Elected National Exchange Club Regional Vice President

Dick Harsin, a member of the Exchange Club of Edmonds, Wash., was elected to a second two-year term as Regional Vice President, Region 2, at the organization’s 2008 national convention in St. Louis, Missouri. He is president of Harsin Wealth, a financial, tax, and retirement planning firm.

Harsin joined Exchange in 1982. He served as club secretary for four years and club president two years. He was a trustee for the National Exchange Club Foundation in 1990-1992, and is a two-time Berkey Fellow. For the Northwest District, he served as child abuse prevention chairman, president for two years, and director and secretary each for four years. Harsin helped build two clubs and continues as a charter member for one. On the national level, Harsin serves on the Growth Committee. He previously served as chairman of the Diversity Committee.

Harsin attended Portland State University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He serves as a board member for the South Snohomish Senior Center, Deaconess Children Services, and North King County Little League, and coaches Little League.

He resides in Lynnwood, Wash., with his wife Nancy, and has two grown children and six grandchildren.
